SCOTT SERAFICA
Scott Serafica has been a lifelong student of art. He has studied various types of art. Scott has previously also worked as a graphic artist. His study of Renaissance painters, Dutch painters, and Impressionism led to a passion for Representational Impressionism, which is the foundation of his current work.
Scott is a full time artist and teacher. He resides in San Antonio, where he balances family life with painting. His award winning work can be seen at New Braunfels Art Gallery.
Scott has attended workshops under the guidance of Dan Gerhartz, Morgan Weistling, Scott Burdick, and Janice Yow Hindes. He credits time spent painting from life and the mentoring of Gladys Roldan-de-Moras as factors in his artistic growth. Scott admires and emulates John Singer Sargent, Richard Schmid, and Anders Zorn.
